I’ve been on the fence about giving vegetarianism a try. It seems highly hypocritical to care about animal cruelty while tucking into a cheeseburger. I’m not the most outspoken advocate when it comes to animal rights, but I don’t feel it’s necessary to still be eating meat in this day and age. It’s actually going to save me money too. This could end up being one of the many phases that will fizzle out within a week, but it’s worth a try and I figured if I post this here, I’ll be more motivated to keep it up.

unexplained-events:

William Utermohlen
Artist William Utermohlen was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease in 1995. Over the course of roughly five years he drew these self portriats (starting at 1996) of himself.
Whether the cause for the change in his portraits was from the disease which made him forget what he looked like or due to the loss of artistic skills, this is extremely heartbreaking.
